Did You Know? The first ever game of modern baseball was played in Hoboken in 1846! The New York Knickerbockers and the New York Nine played a four inning game where pitchers only threw underhand and outfielders didn’t wear gloves. The field is no longer there, but you can visit it’s historical marker at the intersection of 11th and Washington.
